DR. ELIZABETH BEAUTYMAN
Dr. Elizabeth Beautyman is a specialist in Internal Medicine and has a subspecialty in Hematology. She has maintained, and has been committed to, a solo private practice in Manhattan for over 25 years, and continues to accept most insurance plans.
Her practice is consistent with Dr. Beautyman’s belief that her skills should be available to the broadest possible range of adult patients, which in turn has yielded her a tremendously varied and enriching patient experience over the years. Many of Dr. Beautyman’s patients have been with her since she started her practice over 25 years ago, and she is most gratified that she now also treats the adult children of many of her patients. In many respects, Dr. Beautyman represents the best aspects of the traditional “family doctor”, treating her patients as her own family, and being there for them when they need her. She believes that patients should be helped to understand as much as they can about their health, should not be kept waiting, and should be spared unnecessary testing and treatment.
Dr. Beautyman is a Senior Attending at Roosevelt Hospital, and is on the faculty of Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons.
